Steve and Lori Schwartz - At 17 years of age Steve and Lori purchased a small bait shop located on State Road 19 in Noblesville, Indiana, embarking on an adventure that has spanned nearly 30 years! Now, three decades later, their tiny business has grown into one of Noblesville's finest downtown attractions. Both are very active in the community at large and participate regularly in city and county government. Quite a journey from long hours counting bait and making lures, wouldn't you say?

Pete Schwartz - Pete has been standing behind the register of Schwartz's Bait and Tackle since the days when he needed a milk crate to reach the sale button. This makes him by far one of White River Canoe Company's most seasoned employees. After over twenty years of practically living within the business, Pete has become an invaluable manager and team member. He has also worked a multitude of other jobs, consisting of both a reserve police officer and a volunteer fire fighter. His heart, as it seems, continues to belong to the store that he has known his entire life, and at present this is where he devotes the vast majority of his energy.

James Mundt - James is a Purdue graduate who is going on his fourth summer working for White River Canoe Company. Another of the company's managers, James has invested a significant amount of time to all aspects of the business. He now splits his time between a career in elementary education and continuing to help White River Canoe Company grow.

Rob Strassburg - Starting at Schwartz's Bait and Tackle when he was 17, Rob is going on his eighth summer with the company. Another Purdue student majoring in education, he continues to work as a summer manager as he gradually earns his degree. Eventually he hopes to become a full time writer, but feels that more than likely - no matter what turns his life takes - a piece of him will always be connected to Noblesville's one and only canoe livery.
